If you are truly serious and want to save this dog's life (or some other owner will force you to have it put down) then find a good trainer for this dog. There is a chance "first blood" and it's too late, but I believe in giving the dog a chance. Please keep this dog away from other people and especially children. Although the dog may appear docile to you, you're the owner and you have no idea what your dog is capable of. German Shepherds were using during the 2nd World War, and also as attack dogs for the Germans, as well as for property protection in the U.S. and Canada and also police officers will use them. They have been so imbred by breeders the bloodlines have become weak and thus, that is why the poodle is being introduced into so many other breeds such as labs, beagles, cocker spaniels, etc. My father had a friend who was a police officer. He was trained with his dog "Blast" and he would bring the dog home with him after shift to become part of the family. This dog had been in the family home for over 4 years and they had no problems with it. One evening he and his wife were expecting company for dinner, so without giving it a thought, the wife went to the dining room table to remove her husbands leather gloves and the dog charged her and literally tore her arm off! There ya go! This is a sighn of serious agression trying to fix this on your own maybe very dangerous so read everything dont just stop reading!BUT before you do let me tell you this it may seem like it may not work but try it. 1)always be calm/submissive around your dog 2)get your dog and take it on atleasta 45 - 60minute walk 3)while on your walk you will have to face alot of obstacles dont get scared never while doing this or it will transfer right to your dog and then turn him nervous and attack!never say (good boy, its okay, you want a treat!)never i mean never or you will just tell him its okay, go ahead keep doing what your doing. 4)the dog will throw a bit of fights and start throwing himself every where dont panic stay calm.there is also another thing i learned theres a part of his body that just makes him stop and focus back at you i think it is between the rib cage area. there is probably other problems triggering this reaction he/she probably does not get enough excersise(letting him run around in a yard does not countbecause if you got your dog from a kennel he feels like hes coming from on kennel to another and that just builds up more tension.if this is a serious case i prefer you not to do this by yourself.
