No, but there was a writer who posted the following on his website regarding the Christmas poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Clarke Moore:

"This poem has done more to influence how we celebrate Christmas than The Bible.... It introduced the most famous reindeer in the world (Until Audie Murphy started singing about Rudolph)."

When I asked him about it he replied with:

My apologies. I must have had a senior moment when I confused Gene Autry and Audie Murphy. I will go back and adjust the detail to avoid further confusion.
