Only domesticated pig species have curly tails and within each of those breeds, the tail may be straight or kinked, not necessarily curly. The origins of the curly tail appear to be a product of selective breeding for aesthetic purposes. Pigs have been domesticated for thousands of years and those possessing a kinked or slightly curled tail were targeted in order to increase the chances of the offspring having a curly (and hopefully more so than their parents) tail. Through time the trait became common and the degree of curliness even greater.
curly tails
Pigs are smarter than dogs. The dog is it's predator and they can get along with cats. When they squeal they are louder than an airplane during takeoff. They aren't all pink with curly tails. I have a pig and he's black with white hooves and doesn't have a curly tail. it looks like a cow's tail. hope that helps a little!
Bamboo hair curlers are great all year round for keeping your hair curly.
Male pigs or all types are called boars. ;D
They are very cute! Also they have a lot of personality, love to cuddle, make fun noises, are smart (I've taught all my guinea pigs tricks), come in all sorts of neat colors and coat types (google texel guinea pigs for a really neat curly haired guinea pig), and they do not smell as badly as rabbits if you keep their cage clean.
yes dog tails can be diffrent shapes some can be straight curly or not have a tail at all.

Guinea pigs DON'T have tails. Therefore they cannot get wet tail, but they CAN get diarrhea, this looks the same as wet tail and can therefore be quite easy to get them mixed up.
Yes, all types of guinea pigs shed their fur regularly. The frequency and amount of shedding can vary depending on the breed and the season, but shedding is a natural process for all guinea pigs. Regular grooming can help manage shedding and keep their coat healthy.
