I wouldn't think so. Madagascar is basically all jungle and rainforest. Bears usually live in mountainous areas or woods. If Madagascar has any mountains, the bears would probably live there. Since there are some residents, the country may have some zoos with bears in them.

Some Panda Bears live in the rainforest and some can live in dry land, people say that pandas live in the water of the Artic, but its not true because it would be to cold and people are talking bout Polor Bears. Also the panda is a vegaterian so he/she has to live off plants,bamboo,leaves,tree,etc. so if you think pandas live in the artic your wrong they live in CHINA (rainforest,dryland)
