Depends on the dog. I have a 3yo Lab who was trained since 3 months old and he won't go farther than 50'. However, every dog I grew up with from the SPCA ran away every chance they got, mostly it was close, within 1 mile. Some strong willed dog's, like my sisters 3yo Lab will keep going. He'll keep going until someone opens a car door and if they see a deer they are gone. He jumped in the mail truck a couple months ago, last time she had a party the police caught him at 2 am in a bar.
Yes, the bond increases and it is highly desired for the dog to do so. For many K-9 officers, the dogs are very close to them.
they will do nothing
prairie dogs live together to surviveto stay close incase a predator comes( like foxes, wolves, and and lions).
Sure. Just stay close to home.
The "dogs" are hot dogs and they are in a freezer.
No, The dogs will stay at the house. Jon and Kate will be moving in and out of their house, but the dogs will stay at the house.
Plaza Hotel.
The word lost is confusing. Did it get out of it's cage outside your house or did it get lost at some other location? Depending on how tame the bird is depends on getting the bird back. If it is not well trained, it may stay away from people, such as perching in a tree. If it is very used to people it may come down to bushes around the house. If it can fly it may stay close to people around where it was lost and be taken by someone. Maybe even they would put an ad in the paper. Other animals, cats, dogs and etc. can be very dangerous to the parrot. Unless you put an ad around where you lost it, it is not likely you will get it back.
Yes, but try to make it as close to the delivery as possible. If a particular female dog is close friends with another dog they should stay together as long as is possible.
Use treats to keep them close by. Take a dog training class that will teach you what to do. Pull gently on their leash to let them know to stay close to you.
Because like dogs, the strategy of the planes is to get behind the other. In a dog fight, dogs stay close to each other and try to get at the other without getting bit themselves.
When a dog gets lost or is left without a home, they are taken to the pound. A pound is an animal facility where it can have a place to stay, fed, and taken care of, until their recent or new owner comes get them. However, many dogs and cats are found in this situation - without a home. Therefore, an overpopulation occurs within the pound. Sadly, to make more room for the more recently found dogs, they must put down other dogs that were found awhile ago.
