Gerbils can chew on wood and any twig that is non toxic. Make sure that any natural piece of wood or twig has not been treated with any kind of pesticide or has insects lying within. I like to purchase a bag of wood toys made for rodents at a store. As stated in another answer I had given , I like to give toilet and paper towel rolls to them.( make sure no glue) Also, egg cartons with no substance of egg at all on them and coffee cup holders. They go crazy for them. I give them a couple of rolls a night and they chew away!!

cut up an apple and a pear ,hold your nose, and chew .can you distinguish one from the other?
The substitution depends on how you are using the pear. Normally any pear can be substituted unless you need a firmer pear like for poaching in white wine coring chilling and filling with a Mousse. Otherwise as long as you like the pear then you can use it.
A pear is very sweet and is soft but firm
a kk long wide pear because peary the Pearson is a Pearson shaped like a pear.
pear sounds like pair

a pear
Rose apples are shaped like a pear. They are native to Australia.
Yes, hamsters can eat pears. Make sure the fruit is washed thoroughly, and cut small enough for the hamster to be able to chew.
The 'grit' in a pear (or quince) is found in the skin; individual cells, commonly called 'stone cells' due to their hardness, their scientific name is 'brachysclerids'.
If you have a wire cage, your hamster can chew on it all the time. Make sure you give him/her enough chew sticks. Your hamster needs enough things to chew on so that his/her front teeth don't grow too long then they won't be able to eat and pass away. On the other hand, if you have a like a cardboard box, (I'm pretty sure no one does) it is not OK yo let you hamster chew on its cage because they can chew a whole right threw the box then your hamster is gone.
they are quite delicious. I'm Asian. i love them.
