No you don't have to take that child back, but it is still your responsibility to find a facility in which your child will be safe and cared for. Before you make a decision such as this it's best to be honest with yourselves and be sure there are not things between the two of you that could have caused your child to run away. If your child just doesn't like the rules of the house and you can't control him/her or they have become dangerous, then there are some programs for parents to help them decide where the best place is for that child. Talk to your local police or Mental Health. Good luck Marcy
no
yeah
the state takes children away from there families because the children are being abused from there parents
Children seeped back into the cities, as parents and evacuee hosts felt there was no need for the children to be away from their homes if there was no great danger. And Hussies were Turds
Yes, seventeen is not the same age as eighteen. In Texas, until you are an adult, the law says the parents are responsible for the minor and where they live.
if they are not ill and just stupid then no
I certainly don't, however in other countries people do take children away telling the parents that they would come back.
In the state of MI, yes, a seventeen year old can move out of their parents' home. The police will not bring them back. At seventeen, a person is considered an adult, can be charged with a crime in the adult court and can make decisions about where to live.
In most cases, a divorce will not delay getting children back from Children's Service. It will really depend on the reasons why the children were taken from the parents.
Being the age of 17 is not the same as being 18. Until they are 18 a minor will be returned. The parents continue to be responsible and make the decisions.
It depends. You would have to go and prove that you are able to support and take care of yourself hence get emancipated. If you do decide to just run away, parents are in legal right to make you come back.
Since seventeen is still considered being a minor, if caught, the police will return you back to your parents. Once a person is of eighteen, if they run away, then they are considered an adult and able to fend for themselves.
