Why not? If your rabbit likes it, then let it have red peppers. He knows better than anybody what is good for him! But I think carrots are a better choise for him...

"Capsicum" is the name for a genus of flowering plants that are widely cultivated for their pepper fruits. "Capsicum" is also sometimes used to specifically refer to bell peppers a.k.a. sweet peppers a.k.a. red/green/yellow peppers. I'll talk about both meanings of "capsicum" below:

Rabbits don't eat spicy foods, so they don't eat spicy peppers. You shouldn't give spicy foods to your rabbit at all because they can make the rabbit sick.

You also shouldn't give your rabbit any dried spices, herbs, or other dried flavourings, even if they aren't spicy: only fresh plants are good for rabbits.

Bell peppers are not recommended for rabbits because they can cause gas. Gas can be very serious in rabbits, possibly leading to deathly illness (GI stasis). Some rabbits are more sensitive to gas than others, so some rabbits can have bell pepper as a treat, but other rabbits shouldn't have it at all. If you do give bell pepper to your rabbit, it should only be as a treat (an occasional bite or two), not a regular part of the diet.

Orange peppers are not good for rabbits. No colour of peppers are good for rabbits because they're high in sugars, and they're indicated in gas. If your rabbit likes peppers, and it doesn't give her gas or other health problems, then she can have pepper as a treat. Treats should be limited because too many can make a rabbit sick. The House Rabbit Society recommends no more than 2 tablespoons of treat food per day for a normal, healthy 6 pound rabbit. If your rabbit is sensitive to gas, she shouldn't have any peppers at all because gas can be very painful for rabbits -- if left untreated it can even lead to serious illness (GI stasis), up to and including death. Treating gas can be a long and tiring process involved lots of stomach massage and small doses of liquid simethicone -- it's best to avoid it entirely, if possible. Gas that isn't cured within a few hours at home, and that keeps the rabbit from eating and drinking, should be treated by a knowledgeable rabbit vet.
