Red Wolves. And they're hybrids, not full blooded. They were deliberately introduced into the Smoky's (North Carolina side) where they've slowly expanded from the Carolina's into some parts of Tennessee. They 'were' originally full bloods that were born in captivity, later released into the wild. Since their release, they've populated off-spring with coyote and scientists & reseachers have since classified them as "hybrids".
