depend on if the deers are afraid of dogs
they would be used as wild boor hunting dogs, and deer hunting dogs . (ect.)
They were first bred as hunting dogs. For hunting rabbits and foxes etc.
Some breeds of dogs are named for things they were used in hunting for. A deer dog, or deer hound, would have gone on hunting trips for deer. There are wolf hounds and rat terriers, etc.
Dogs may kill rabbits due to their natural hunting instincts. Dogs have a strong prey drive and may see rabbits as potential prey, leading them to chase and sometimes kill them.
yes it does---- Most definitely! I hunt a 3,500 deer lease in Alabama where they allow deer-hunting with dogs and dogs constantly interrupt the hunts on this lease for all members, that stray from large adjoining tracts. The owners are cavalier about it, even rude when contacted (they have their information on the dog's tags) about their dogs. They simply retrieve them and leave. I cringe every time that I hear the beasts....
