Find a good riding instructor friend, or parent that will be with you when riding to help you. Find a horse that is at your level, not beyond and not below, take your time it is not a rush, and have fun, do things that are fun for you and fun for your horse. If you have lost your confidence because of your horse, it may help to ride a calmer horse of a friends. If that is not availlable then you could try to spend more time with your horse, grooming is good, so you can understand each other more. it may help to have a few riding lessons with an instructor, who may be able to point out if you are going wrong.
