As big (or as little) as any of the non-working breeds that are used for Guidework can get. It all depends on the genetics of the sire and dam. Some of the Guide providers have a minimum and maximum height requirement and any dog over or under is not used for the program. My wifes first Guide was a big 75 lb. Yellow Lab and her current one is a little 50lb. Black Lab. The harnesses that are used have interchangeable handles for different height dogs so the handler can use them comfortably.
