Cheetahs communicate using a series of bird like calls or squeaks. The main time when you see cheetahs communicating is between a mother and her cubs or when they are growling at a rival.

Cheetahs chirp (in much a similar way some birds do) to each other to communicate. One example, mother Cheetahs will chirp after they've taken down prey like a gazelle in the wild, to signal to their young that it's time to eat.
