Unbolt the old one, put the castle nut at the very top of the threads and carefully hammer it out, install the new one. It's extremely basic part changing.

To add oil to the transmission of a John Deere L120, first ensure the mower is on a level surface and the engine is off. Locate the transmission dipstick or fill cap, usually found near the rear of the mower. Remove it, then use a funnel to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid until it reaches the recommended level on the dipstick. Finally, replace the dipstick or fill cap securely before starting the mower.
Depends on the hours and condition of the mower. A low hours, well kept mower should go for around $1000. The price will also vary depending on your location.
Check to made sure the choke is fully closing. It's possible the choke cable could've slipped preventing it from choking enough. By the same token it could be closing just enough to not cause a problem during warmer weather.
Dead cell in the battery requiring a new battery. A light that is on pulling power from the battery. Relay stuck in the closed position. More than likely the battery has a dead cell.
