How do you get a guinea pig to nibble you?

As a Guinea pig owner I can tell you that with both my guinea pigs it is simply a case of trust and building a connection between you and your guinea pig.

Basically, if your guinea pig trusts you then it will happily relax and close its eyes on you and comfortably fall asleep on you.

Guinea pigs are very relaxed and peaceful pets so you would have to be very quiet and very still (no movements) for them to fully relax on or around you.

The best way to build a connection and trust with you guinea pig is to spend lots and lots of time with it. give it food from your hand and speak to it with high pitch (baby talk).

All this takes time. Be patient and you will soon be having great times with you piggie and relaxing together.

Well, my name is Sunrise and this is how you do it:

1: put it to sleep and sleep with it

2: next time let it see u sleep and it will sleep

3: at night let it pee and poop and both of u then go to bed

4: check on it a few times also just 2 b sure

5: do it 4 a couple of nights @ see how it goes.

I have 2 guinea pigs which love nestling around my neck and with them snuggled up they fall asleep..i'm pretty tactile with mine so depends how hands on you are with them..the more you handle them and have them on you they may then fall asleep.

my guinea pig likes to sleep when it is dark. they might keep you up, but just wait awhile and they will soon fall asleep. when i first got my guinea pig she didn't sleep but once they are comfortable they will go to sleep
