There is stink, and then there is dog. Be reasonably sure that you are not trying to make your dog something that it is not. Dogs are going to smell like dogs, just as people smell like people. Please don't be putting your dog through torture, and possible physical discomfort/harm, so that it is not offensive to your nose. Have the dog groomed by a professional and follow the groom's suggestions. Or, bathe the dog the way the Vet suggests, using what the Vet recommends.
