If its hot or cold outside don't let the rabbit out unless the play area is in the shade. Also, don't put the rabbit in direct light! Its eyes will hurt! You can keep a rabbit cool outside if you provide fresh cold water and some shade on a nice day! (not hot or cold)
yes but you have to keep a close eye on it.
In the shade with plenty of fresh water.
Make sure your rabbit stays warm, has lots of exercise and eats healthy. Don't keep it locked away inside, make sure he/she has a chance to go outside and exercise. At night I would suggest you keep your rabbit somewhere warm, not outside.
Rabbits have a lot of preditors. Some of them can be dogs, snakes, racoons (it's true). If you are worried about your rabbit try to keep the rabbit inside the house more and not in hutches that leave the rabbit outside.
Baths can be dangerous for rabbits. Healthy rabbits, including outside ones, keep themselves clean and don't require baths. If your rabbit needs a bath, something is wrong -- either the rabbit is sick and needs a vet, or you should improve the rabbit's living conditions. If you need to bathe a rabbit, follow certain precautions to keep the rabbit safe. See the related question below about bathing rabbits for details and link -- it applies to outside rabbits as well.
Not really - most rabbits can be kept either outside or inside. Some people keep small rabbits inside because they are more vulnerable outside. Some people also keep larger rabbits inside because they are more like dogs.
If you have a big open space or back yard you should purchase a rabbit hutch or if you wish to keep your rabbit indoors you should purchase a rabbit cage. Whatever you do, make sure you keep the rabbit safe! Rabbits need exercise daily, but there are many dangers to them both inside and outside. It's up to the rabbit owner to control the rabbit's environment. For details, see the related questions below -- they have lots of information and helpful links.
