Really no different than training a dog. Use treats like nuts or yogurt drops or tiny little pieces of cheese (whichever your mouse like best--some don't like cheese). If you want the mouse to go across a string a couple of inches off the ground then lure the mouse with a treat and have a larger piece at the end of the string on a platform. Mice are extremely easy to train. They're not as motivated by food as some species are, though, so you might have to get it hungry by taking out its food dish for a few hours before you try to train it.

You should use a thing called positive training. This is where you only use praise to teach the puppy it will do what you want easier. if you are training it to sit (one of the basics) then you show the puppy the treat and hold it slowly back over their nose until they sit. After that you can say sit every time the puppy sits to acosiate the command with task.

Well its hard, your rat/mouse would have to know how to do it 1'st EG; its not going to be able to do a back flip.

When your rat dose something its meant to make a specific sound (with your mouth) and give the rat its favorite food (only a little) keep practising this a lot. And it will learn when you make that sound it will do the move.
