Yellow, blue and red are primary colors. They can't be changed except into secondary colors by mixing one with another. The secondary colors are green, orange and violet.
Mixing yellow and blue will usually result in green. The specific shade of green will depend on the ratios of yellow and blue used in the mixture.
Blue/green color
If you primer the wall before painting you will not have to worry about the yellow color "bleeding" thru at all. But, yes yellow and green will make blue.
The color that red, yellow, and blue make, is black. Although I read in a book that red, yellow, and blue makes brown. Though that is not true. If that wasn't the color you wanted, I would try doing gray, mixing the color with red. (That would turn out to maybe brown,) If it still isn't brown, Then you are out of luck. Sorry! :(
Yellow.
Bromothymol blue turns yellow in acidic solutions because the acidic environment shifts the equilibrium of the dye towards its protonated form, which has a yellow color. In acidic conditions, the presence of excess H+ ions cause the dye to change color from blue to yellow.
When blue and yellow are combined, you get the color green.
You add so much yellow to the color blue that it doesn't look blue/green
You can mix blue and yellow to make the color green.
