the giraffe chews its food, swallows it for processing, then visibly reguritates the semi-digested cud up their necks and back into the mouth to re-chew again. this is usually repeated several times. you will find that the giraffe is a foregut fermenter because it regurgitate's its semi-digested food and the re-chews it again. in their faeces there will usually be no plant material visible because of all the regurgitating. hope this helps =]
