POLAR BEARS Polar bears actually grow pretty fast.
Same way other bears grow.
None, which is partly why polar bears are carnivores.
Just like us. We start as a small baby and we grow into an adult. Their fur also is thick so it makes them look bigger.
They can grow a bit taller at the shoulder and outweigh the Polar bear by 500 pounds, but the Polar bears grow longer (Polar bears up to 11 feet long, Grizzlies only up to 7 feet long!)
They can grow up to 8ft tall
Polar Bears have two layers of hair...they grow their second layer of hair when have reached Adulthood.
They get older from being cubs and turn into full grown bears
Polar bears are mammals, so bear cubs grow inside the mother and are born just like human babies.
Plants that grow in polar bear habitats include mosses, lichens, grasses, sedges, willows, and dwarf shrubs like Arctic willow and Arctic cottongrass. These plants are adapted to the cold, harsh conditions of the Arctic and subarctic regions where polar bears live.
They grow in a year
they have their babies, then put them under snow until they grow up enough to be on their own
