Depends on what you mean by how long?
If you mean how much time do they spend playing in a day....quite a bit. They'll play for awhile, then rest, then go back to play...on and off all day. Mine is quite happy just to bat her squeaky ball around or wrestle with one of her squeaky toys.
If you mean how long...as in do they still play when they reach adulthood...yes, mine is 5 years old and still plays and runs like she did when she was a puppy.
