You usually want to wait 6 weeks before washing mom. If she was mature at the time of giving birth to her puppies, she should know how to clean herself so the babies can have clean suckling space. Additionally, its best to not treat her with any medications while she is breastfeeding as anything can pass along to the babies. When you do give her a bath, use only mild shampoo as she is still healing from the birth herself and you don't want any irritation for her around or up in her private area. I would try oatmeal bath, but only after 6 weeks and only after you have seen that mom is comfortable leaving babies for a short period of time without freaking out. Hope this helps!!

Puppies should not be bathed until they are at least 8 weeks old. Younger puppies are not able to regulate their body temperature well and are more sensitive to cold. Waiting until they are 8 weeks old ensures they are more capable of handling the bathing process without any risks.
Feed her at normal feeding times and feed her a little more than usualy, after having puppies dogs get really hungry and it takes away alot of energy to feed the puppies.
...How Long* do I wait...
I think it is about 10 months...
Well, if its a small dog, maybe wait for two years, so they grow to their biggest size, until them, just place them in the bath with no water and just put dog shampoo, wet your hands, wet the dog with wet hands, hazahh! Shiny wet dog~ Larger Dogs: Wait a year. Then you can be sure they are ready. It may be new to him, but he will get used to it~

The mother canine will tend for her young ... it's best not to handle these puppies until they are "weaned" from their mother - about eight weeks after birth. If the parent dog is not doing this, contact your veterinarian for advice.
Well unless your swimming laps in your bathtub, you don't have to
