How many puppies can a yorkie terrier have per litter?

All dog breeds can have litters from 1 to 8 puppies. The smaller breeds can have less than the larger breeds who can sometimes have litters of 12 puppies.

a Yorkie can have up to 2 puppies at a time, because they are so small there stomach doesn't hold as many puppies as bigger dogs can.

i have seen yorkies that had 4 puppies.

My Yorkshire terrier had 7 puppies which astounded me as she was only small. But all the puppies were very healthy & happy I am pleased to say.

Well that depends a lot upon the fertility of the parents involved. Diet, exercise, stress and health all effect fertility. Also genetics can play a major role.

You can expect anywhere from 1-4 puppies. Health and genetics are factors.

About 1-4 but its quite unhealthy for teacups to have smaller teacups and if you want one please research them because i wanted one but i researched and a few peoples died in the first 1-2 weeks im not trying to convince you not to get one just be careful! :P
