technically, a mass extinction has no time frame, the only requirements are that a large portion of species die off relatively quickly, how this happens or how long it takes depends entirely on the current circumstances. most mass extinctions probably happened anywhere from a few months to a couple of years.
the dimetrodon went extinct in the Permian Mass Extiction Event in 250 million years ago
Extinction is where a species of a animal/plant totally dies out and there are none left, like Dinosaurs for example, or Dodos.

the mass extiction
It has been speculated that the mass extinction of dinosaurs was caused by an asteriod, however there is not enough evidence collected to support this. It is still argued possible though.
From many years this affirmation is not considered valid.
You would have to wait for 2000 years for the mass to decrease to 50 grams (one half-life) and another 2000 years to decrease to 25 grams (two half-lives). So, in total, you would have to wait 4000 years for the mass to decrease to 25 grams.
It will take practically forever. Carbon-12 is not radioactive.
There are many sizes of bottles of glue. Each would have a different mass.
50.8 kilograms (it would have been a hundredweight, cwt, many years ago).
Since the element has a half-life of 1000 years, it will take two half-lives for the mass to decrease to 5 grams from 20 grams. Two half-lives equal 2000 years, so you would have to wait 2000 years for the mass to decrease to 5 grams.
Non-Bird Dinosaurs, Flying Non-Bird Dinosaurs lke ptheridactlye, Sea-Reptiles like Mosasaur and Aminotes those are the Animals who went Extinct in the K/T Mass Extiction
