The eastern cougar, or eastern mountain lion, requires a substantial habitat to thrive, typically needing large territories ranging from 50 to 1,000 square miles, depending on factors like prey availability and human encroachment. These cats are solitary and territorial, so adequate land is crucial for hunting, breeding, and avoiding conflicts with humans. The preservation of connected habitats is essential for their survival, especially given their status as a potentially extinct subspecies.

For being a farmer there is no need to have your own land
According to my Chilton's Auto Repair Manual : For the 3.8 liter V6 engine in a 1991 Mercury Cougar : With engine oil filter change : ( 5.0 US. quarts )
Yes, but man, the cougar's primary predator, does not threaten it by virtue of hunting but by both habitat destruction and habitat division. Recall that this cat is an apex predator. Though they're not hunted all that much (relatively), the large tracts of wilderness they need to roam to survive are being "settled" and also "subdivided" into smaller (and, therefore, unsuitable) habitats by roads, traffic and construction.

Why did eastern states need beef
You didn't explain much of what was wrong, but with my cougar I thought it was the latch, but it was actually having to replace the bushings in the door hinge. It used to be that you could just by the bushings kit, but now you have to by the whole set up.
