My vet recommends waiting for my bitch's second season, so it is not necessarily related to age. However, as the first season generally occurs around seven months (give or take a few months depending on the type of dog) this is way to young to breed a bitch. She is physically able to cope with puppies from her second season onwards.
Talk to your vet, it all depends on the breed/health of the dog.
well...yes it can but it will get very lazy and isnt very good.its like a old women having a baby its difficult. but yes its possible.
Simple. Buy a bitch, mate him and when his pups are old enough have your baby pee on his pups
Then it probably has not been bred yet.
A dog/puppy should be at least three to four I have a dog who has had two littlers and all the pups were about four weeks old to a month. I weaning prosess itself should take a least a week to two weeks. Hope this helps!
Puppies are 3 days old...
Of course they can eat dog food at 7 months. My dog ate dog food when she is only 4 months old. But please choose the food specially made for pups so they can get the suffiecient amount of nutrients.
Possibly to bury a pup that didn't survive the birth...
38 Stupid answer. The oldest dog is in the low twenty's. They can go longer than humans, I had a Dachshund who got pregnant at 14 and had 4 pups.
Yes, eighteen months old is too young for a dog to have pups. It is recommended to wait until a female dog is at least two years old before breeding to ensure her physical and emotional maturity, as well as her overall health and well-being. Breeding too early can lead to complications and health issues for both the mother and the puppies.
About every 6 months until she gets old, probably about 25 or 30.
No she s old enough my dog had puppies 2 weeks before she turned 1 year old . She concived them when she was 8 monthes it was an acciddentle litter. They said she could die but she had no probs at all now I have one of her puppies.
