In my opinion, yes 9 years old is too old. Why not spay her so she can live a longer life. As they age, things start to happen, such as pyometrias (infection of the uterus - can cause death), mammary tumors, perianal tumors, etc. You will cut down her risk of these things if you spay her. Breeding her at this age is not advised. It takes a lot out of them to be pregnant, whelp the pups and take care of the pups. Why not give her an easier life?
Any time after the first heat (menstrual) cycle is safe to breed your dog.
A cockapoo (also called a spoodle, cockerpoo, or cockadoodle) is a hybrid dog, bred for the first time in the United States, by crossing an American Cocker Spaniel or English Cocker Spaniel and a poodle (in most cases the miniature poodle or toy poodle), or by breeding cockapoo to cockapoo.

A Poodle is a breed of dog; therefore it was not discovered but bred. The poodle is an older dog, they came before Kennel Clubs and breed standards: it was not one person who bred them but a region over time. They are German and the name comes from the same place as the word puddle, they were bred to be retrievers. Despite their perceived elegance poodles were first a working dog and their distinctive hair cuts are to help them in frigid waters.
I asked my veterinarian once if I could walk my miniature poodle for an hour in reasonable weather, at the time my male dog was five and a half months old and had all his shot including rabies. He said an hour wouldn't hurt him (walking) and could probably do more. We have taken him walking for an hour and he didn't seem very tired at all. We did take water to offer him occasionally. It was about two miles.
Purebred I think
Four would be a normal size litter, They don't have huge litters. But can have 5 or 6 but 4 would be a good size litter. The smaller the litter the better condition the Dam will be in.. Good luck
I wouldn't think it is too old to start breeding your poodle but you must make sure that she is given the all clear from your Veterinarian and that you follow your Vets advice about breeding her. I have 3 poodles myself but mine are pet only. Also make sure she is comfortable with whom she is breeding with, introduce the dogs first and see if they take to each other. Also read up on everything you can about breeding your dog, birthing of the puppies and have everything you will need to hand and your Vet will prove invaluable in this area. Hope this helps. erm i would probably say that you could start breeding from 1 to 5 so yeah i guess so and your poodle is quite old so make it comfortable with who she is breeding with
dont breed them the first or second time and if there very playful dont breed them the 3 time or they wont no wat 2 do and just play
2000000years old is how old my chihuahuas breed
Yes but that's the earliest it can breed
12 to 14 years is the expected life span of a miniature poodle. I know that there are exceptions to every rule, but I have a miniature poodle (22 pounds) that is 17 years old and still getting on quite well. He has a little arthritis in his hips, can't see too well due to cataracts and his hearing has diminished, but the little guy still loves to ride on the golf cart, bark at the ducks and has a great appetite. Also still very affectionate. His favorite meal? A Sonic Junior Deluxe Burger, which he has 3 times a week. Hey, at his age, what the heck. I highly recommend a poodle for most considering a dog. There is a stigma out there that poodles are little yappers that old ladies carry around. NOT SO. I have had two of them, and they are what you make them. Mine are quite macho little guys that catch Frisbees, love to run, great watchdogs, great travelers, extremely smart and easy to train. If they have a fault, it might be their initial attitude toward small children. Mine have been slow to accept them and a little nervous around them. Given time to get to know them, they love them and even get protective of them.
