yes
Guinea pigs can have heart attacks by eating to much unhealthy food like us! But if your concerned about your guinea pig having a heart attack i recommend you to take your guinea pig to the vet!
Have you met a guinea pig? They are cuddly and small!
It cost about 25 to 30
It all depends on the guinea pigs behavior and who the person is. A well socialized guinea pig is more likely to come to it's owner while a shy and under socialized guinea pig would be less likely to come.
Just leave it probally just has a itch like us.
Our guinea pig squeals if we are around and he is short on food. I think it is his way of letting us know he wants food?
You can. Rabbit pellets and guinea pig pellets are essentially the same thing. Guinea pig pellest usually have vitamin C included in their ingredients...which is an essential vitamin for a guinea pig to consume. Other animals, like rabbits, horses etc, make their own vitamin C but guinea pigs don't, so like us, they need to consume it by eating things like apples. My recommendation is that you buy guinea pig pellets; rabbits can eat them as well and you make sure your pig is getting what it needs.
Have sufficient room for your guinea pig to roam. (a.k.a. right sized cage.)Feed them the proper diet. (They can't produce their own vitamin c like us so they need lots of veggies)Are guinea pigs right for you? consider - Can you commit to it throughout its' life? Can you care for it properly? Do you have the money to look after the guinea pig? (what if it had to go to the vet? (guinea pigs can easily get sick if not properly looked after.))Entertain them!! Provide toys - tubes, houses or even another guinea pig! (another guinea pig is recommended because they can get quite sad on their own and if they have a friend to play with then their true personality comes out!)Check lots of websites that are about guinea pigs -www.kornage.co.ukwww.cavymadness.comwww.guineapigsclub.cometc. look up 'guinea pigs' in Google and you will find loads!HOPE I HELPED!!-How do I know this?---I have 7 guinea pigs!!ps dont put two males togather they fight.
I had a guinea Pig, It was about 5 when it started having some of those symptoms. I took him to the vet and they said he had his teeth going in making it unable for him to move his tongue really. so he had to get them clipped. after that they gave us soem soft food to feed him. After that every thing went down hill He didn't swallow it really, and it was just filling up in his mouth. Eventually He passed away one night. :( Basically the same thing happend to my brothers guinea pig. Another symptom for me was drooling. Does yours? Hope for the best.

The guiena pig belongs to the family caviidae and genus Cavia pocellus.
I believe they are from Peru, in South America. Explorers that came to that area, brought back plants, food, and animals from the various areas that the had explored, the guinea pig was an animal that was brought back. Because of their cuteness, and and gentle personalities, the royalties quickly made them pets!
