There isn't much you can do. They do not have the ability to vomit. Give them access to water and watch for any indication of distress. Remove the kitty litter from areas where the rats can access it. They should be fine.
The real ashy untreated litter is fine, I wouldn't use the more expensive ones as they tend to be treated with this and that and it might upset your lizard. But the cheap stuff is just ashy rock which is fine.
We will Get fine
Kitty litter is a cheap an effective way. Get the kitty litter that is like fine sand. You can put it on anything and it will absorb the mildew odor. Leave it for at least 3 hours (longer if you can) then vacuum up. Kitty litter is also good to carry in the trunk of your car if you live in a place that has a lot of snow. It helps to give your tires some traction. Marcy
If you like it, then it's fine. The hamster won't complain.
Yes it is. Nothing is too silly to call a hamster. If you like it and so does the hamster then its fine. :)
I have a hamster its fine he might get sick though
ya, that is fine.
a hamster that doesnt get bothered. just dont touch it at all and u should be fine :)
It's fine to pick a hamster by the skin behind his ears, but anywhere else it might hurt your hamster.
I think you can only get salmonellosis from a hamster but its very very very very VERY rare to get it; your hamster probably wont have it if he/she looks fine when you get the hamster. but anything else i dont think you can get from a hamster.
depends, are feeding it or drownig it? if feeding it, got to a pet store and get one of those bottles you tie to the cage, the hamster will be fine. if drowing it tie it to a rock and drop it in at least 2 feet of water, the hamster wil Not be fine. P.S. hamster can't swim.
