This depends on what type of school you are talking about. If you mean Elementary, junior high or high school, then yes you can, but you may not be able to do after school activities as you will need to ride and take care of your horse. If you mean College or a University, then maybe. Some colleges have equestrian teams and will allow you to bring your horse with you and compete on their teams. While others will not have stables, but if you have the money you could board the horse nearby, so long as you would have time to care for it.
Depends. If its a riding school pony its not as likely since it gets ridden by so many people, but it is possible. If you go often it can learn to recognise you. When you have your own horse 90% of them will recognise you after a while
In a manner of speaking, yes a horse goes to school. For training they go to a trainer, which is like a horse teacher.
They walked. Anyone who was rich enough to be able to have their own horse was rich enough to hire a home teacher so they didn't have to go to school.
