I am going to assume that you had a Veterinarian do the ear cropping and not yourself. There are certain creams that you can put on the edges that will help to ease the itching but the best thing is to either take your dog back to the Vet who did the ear cropping or call him or her, to treat these cropped ears. While it's true dogs with floppy ears can have more problems with infections in their ears cropping has nothing to do with it. Please see your vet and they will give you medication (drop form) to put in the dogs ears. Dogs ears should be cleaned every couple of weeks. You can go to a pet store or ask your vet for a Herbal flush (liquid) and put a few drops in to clean out all wax (has a fresh smell) and then add any medication after this. Only your vet can diagnose this and just like humans if the ear infections is not looked after the dog could go deaf.
