Though Respidoral is often considered for the treatment of ADHD, it is a heavy drug, that is it is an extremely potent anti-psychotic usually prescribed for people with schizophrenia, psychosis and severe autism. It does work in some cases, but it causes anxiety, often depression, and you typically gain about 20 kilograms (45 pounds) of weight. This is in addition to the side effects often experienced when people use drugs like haloperidol, such as akathisia, dry mouth, muscle-stiffness, muscle-cramping, restlessness, tremors, Rabbit syndrome and in severe cases of accidental over-prescription, drug-induced coma.

Basically, not worth the risk.

If you have ADHD, and are considering a course of medications, the best thing I can recommend is good diet and regular healthy exercise, followed by a low-dosage course of Ritalin or atomoxetin.
