It all depends on the type of cancer and most importantly- how does it affect his everyday quality of life. I have a horse with cancer. He is now 32 yrs old and has had it over 6 years. Vet checks him regularly and is doing fine. Please consult with your vet to determine what is best course of action for your horse.
