This would depend on your definition of "bad". I have two male Sugar Gliders and I love them! But they are a pet that you should research thoroughly before buying.
They have specific needs. A few of which are:
A large TALL cage
A partner, they do not do well alone.
A specialized diet that includes a variety of fresh fruits & vegetables, proteins & supplements every day.
They can be noisy.
They take a lot of time and attention so that they can bond to you.
They have a 10-12 year life span with proper care, so they are a long term commitment.
But they are amazing, smart, affection and funny animals.
A joy to own!
Just research all you can on the internet before purchasing so that you are prepared to give them the home they need to be Happy and healthy!
