Thoroughbreds, mostly though of as just speed demons, are actually one of the best jumper breeds. With their long, athletic legs and powerful haunches, they can jump difficult heights, at ease, and at great speeds. They are bred strong and with excellent endurance, which are key traits for a powerful, high jumper. Many other breeds are very well fit for high jumping too.
yes any breed or type of horse can jump, how well they jump depends on how well the horse was trained.
I have never heard of a horse jump 13 feet. The highest I know of was 8 feet.
I don't know of any specific breed that can jump higher than a house. Thoroughbreds are good jumpers along with Warmbloods.
all breeds. houses cant jump!
A jumping competition to see which horse can clear the highest jump is called a high jump or puissance competition. Riders and horses aim to clear increasingly higher obstacles until only one horse remains that can jump the highest height.
It depends on the horse and it depends on the dog.
7 feet
The Arabian was the first horse to jump seven feet in equine history.
If you mean the riddle/joke then:All breeds. Houses don't jump. :)Or if you're really serious then...:The highest record of a horse's jump was 8 feet 1 1/4inches. This was performed by Huaso, a Thoroughbred horse. I guess the answer depends on the height of the house.
http://ultimatehorsesite.com/info/worldrecord_jump.html 1938 I believe
None. The tallest jump was 8ft, I believe. A house would have to be that many ft high for that, and the horse who jumped that is dead. His name was King's Own. His breed was unknown.
It is called a puissance.
