What color are impalas?

The animal is a fawn (tan) color with white chest/belly, muzzle,underside of the tail and white markings on their face around the eyes. They have black markings on their back legs (hock, knee & rump) down the center of their tail, and on the tips of their ears. The Chevy Impala has been painted in a large number of colors over the last five decades. The original coupes where commonly a robin's egg blue, sometimes with a white roof, often with white wall tires and always with lots of chrome trim. During the 60s the Impala "muscle cars" frequently appeared painted in red.
