I will assume that you mean skewbald. This is a pinto horse (paint coat pattern) that has white combined with a color other than black. The Black and White combination is called a Piebald i.e. 'the pie' from National Velvet (book not the movie.)

So Skewbald horses are white with chestnut/sorrel, bay, buckskin or palomino (or any other genetic variation there of.) If a piebald horse goes gray it becomes a skewbald then a white horse if it looses all color.

Fading black and dark seal brown would be most commonly called piebald. These terms are most often heard in Europe an in the US Paints and pintos are specifically by color and marking (overo, tobiano ect.)
