Dogs can come in many colors, determined by their A, I, D, B, C, and E Locus.
I effects red intensity.
E effects red dilution, including recessive red (ee)
D effects Liver dilution
B effects Blue/black dilution
A effects tanning or recessive black (aa).
So technically, all dogs are some variant of red, white, liver(brown), blue, or black, with tan, merle, masks and white spotting adding even more variation.
No, it doesn't. Dogs regulary have diffrent colors depending on their breed.
it depends on the colors of the dogs but the leder will have a nice coat
Yes, dogs can come in a variety of colors depending on their breed and genetic makeup. Common colors include black, brown, white, tan, and a combination of these colors.
It depends on the breed. Most of the time it is colors of the coat, the height and weight, and proper dimensions for that particular breed. Then if your dog's breed has specific characteristics (like longer than average ears), those are looked at as well.
Dogs can't see bright colors like humans do but they can see soft, very light colors of only certain colors, they are limited.
No, not necessarily true, but mixed breed dogs do live longer than pure bred dogs
Labrador Retrevier aka Lab they come in 3 colors Black,Yellow(Blonde) or chocolate(brown.)
You can breed any Dachshund colors together, you just do not want to breed dapples or dogs that could be hidden dapples together. A chocolate to a Red can make many colors not just one or two depending on what the dogs themselves carry for. If your red only carries for red and has no chocolate in their background and no pointed dogs i.e. black and tan, then you will only make reds but this is usually only in show lines. I am a breeder btw so hope that helps!
Pomeranian husky breeds are mix breed dogs. They are not pure bred. This mixed breed of Pomeranian huskies are a breed of hypoallergenic dogs. Another name for this breed of dogs is pomsky.
well theres many dog colors most will have a tan black or white or darw brown or even gray they can have mixed colors on just one solid color on there fur/pelt depending on what breed of dog it it and did you know dogs are not color blind the just have a very dim eye sight
Yes, they breed dogs with wolves so it's a possibility
No, it's not. A Labrador can come in three main colors which are cream, black and chocolate the ones I seen anyway a lot of people in my area have chocolate labs and are such great dogs, the color chocolate is not a defect in this breed at all, its actually a well sort after color and my choice of colors in the Labrador's if you google the breed you will come up with alot of information on the breed including what colors are acceptable in a purebred Labrador Retriever hope this answers your question.
