A horse smells like a horse. Umm... it smells better than a cow, but worse than a sheep, llama, or goat. A horse can smell good, like hay, or the outdoors. Or a horse can smell bad like mud, or manure from rolling.
cat gut stings are made from sheep, bull, and horse guts not cat guts. Early instruments were strung with gut.

They walk up and smell you and then rest thoer head on your shoulder. They also won't try to buck you of as often as a horse that does not like you.

Joeys, which are the young of any marsupial, have a distinctive wild animal smell which is difficult to describe. It is not like a dog, a cat or a horse, or any of those more familiar animals. It is wild, sharp and "gamey".
All horse urine is like that. It is just an annoying feat. we must live with. I should know, i own 2 horses and have lived on 4 different farms all with no less than 20 horses each. ~A horse of course :) ~
