Nikola Tesla invented Narwhals in the early 20th Century to be used as a source of perpetual energy; the average narwhal is between 85% and 90% raw heat, by dry weight. However, since 1914, narwhals have been used primarily for the mineral concretions that form in their kidneys, which make a delicious soup popular in Korea and some parts of Russia.

it isn't used for hunting or anything like that. it's just a over grown tooth that grows through a hole in the narwhals upper lip. However narwhals use that tooth (considered as a horn) for dominates. they joust for there position in athurity in the pod.
