Marsupials are generally mammals with pouches in which they rear their young, although some species do not have pouches. Marsupial young are characterised by being extremely small and undeveloped at birth. Upon reaching the pouch (or the mother's underbelly, as in the case of the numbat), they latch onto a teat which swells in their mouth to prevent them from being accidentally dislodged during the mother's movements. There they stay for months, to complete their development. They include:
Quolls are marsupials; marsupials are mammals; and all mammals belong to the taxonomic domain of Eukarya, members of which are characterised by having cells with nuclei. Eukarya covers all organisms in the Kingdom Animalia, as well as the Kingdoms Plantae, Fungi and Protista.
Leeches belong to the Animalia domain.
The lion belongs to the domain eukarya
they belong to the Eukarya domain due to be eukaryote
American marsupials belong to the order Didelphimorphia, which includes opossums as the only living representatives in the Americas. These marsupials have a unique reproductive system where females have a pouch to carry and nurse their young.
Eukaryotes are multicellular organisms, such as plants and animals. They belong to the domain eukaryora. Single celled organisms belong to the domain prokaryota.
