Not totally sure, you horse owners out there probably know.
I don't own horses, sadly, but I don't think anything happens if you put 2 pregnant mares in the same meadow or stable or whatever. They might sniff each other...that's all I know. They might be moody like human females when they're pregnant, so be considerate when riding a pregnant mare, as in, don't tighten the girth as tight as you might usually do, and when grooming her, groom carefully at her belly. And ESPECIALLY do NOT whack her on her pregnant belly because she won't like that and she might hurt you. So...be nice!
Put them with a stud stallion, or get them artificiall inseminated. Most commonly, it's better to naturally breed them with a stallion.
Yes, but make sure the stallion has good foaling ease (or has the genetics that gives small foals), as her pelvis is not as wide as mares that have had experience foaling, but small like mares that are pregnant with their first foal.
If they are put together in equal parts, then they will equalize the PH level.
Yes, there are risks. The stallion may get to feeling fresh and try to mate with one of the mares, and the mare will most likely kick at him. However, the stallion might not do that, because in the wild, there is always a stallion with a bunch of pregnant mares. He probably wont though since the mares won't come in heat, and if he does, he'll probaby only do it a few times if any before he gets the picture. So, you can try it and just keep a close eye on them for a few days. If it is a valuable stallion, I wouldn't advise it though.
remove the disc and put the two vertebrae back together. what happens to the nerve?
PMU (pregnant mares' urine) What happens to PMU mares? For approximately six months from fall through spring, the pregnant mares live in the "pee barns," forced to stand in stalls with urine collection devices strapped to them. The stalls are deliberately narrow to prevent pregnant mares from turning around and detaching the collection cups. In the last month of their eleven-month pregnancy, the mares are put out to pasture to have their foals. The mares are put in a herd with a stallion, so they quickly become pregnant again. In September, their foals are taken away from them to be sold, whether or not they are fully weaned. The next month, they're back in the barns and the cycle starts again. The organization that represents the interests of the PMU ranchers, the North American Equine Ranching Information Council (NAERIC ), considers it "a testament to her health and strength" if a mare can have a foal each year for 20 years. Currently, approximately 7,000 PMU mares live on 73 contracted ranches in Manitoba, Canada. The minimum stall width specified in the regulations -- even for the largest draft breeds so commonly used -- is a mere five feet. A typical PMU ranch consists of a small family and one hired ranch hand responsible for feeding, cleaning and exercising nearly 100 pregnant mares at a time. All the mares stay in a rectangle stal from there chess to there rear end and or flanks
