The natural biome of the possum is temperate forest or scrubland, particularly dry and/or wet sclerophyll forest, commonly known as bushland in Australia. They also live in rainforests. The Mountain Pygmy possum is restricted to alpine country in southeast Australia, where there are plenty of mountain Plum pine trees.
They do not live in grassland, as there are insufficient trees there, but they have adapted well to suburbia, wherever there is a decent sized tree, or an accessible roof cavity in a house.
Note that possums are not the same as "opossums", native marsupials of North America, which often have their name shortened to "possum".
Yes. Possums can, and do, live in wall cavities.
(inncorect Apes live in the jungle mosly amazon fores and of coures zoos) First of all i think who ever answered this mis understands biomes. A biomes can be a tundra things suchs as that. A zoo is not a biome. An ape live in wetlands and low lands. A few other biomes may also be a carrier of an ape,
No. Neither possums nor opossums live in Sierra Leone.
Possums do not live underground. They are arboreal, or tree-dwelling marsupials.
True possums are native to Australia, and are quite different to the North American opossum. Possums live in all of the states of Australia.
whales, dolphins... thats all i can think of.
The predators of true possums, which live in Australia, are eagles, hawks, owls and quolls. Foxes, which have been introduced to Australia, are also predators of possums. Possums should not be confused with opossums, which live in North America, and are not related to possums.
No. Possums do not eat fish.
