Horses are what I call a 'high maintainence' animal. They are big, expensive, time-consuming but worth it if you really love them. Caring for a horse can be very complicated and there is so much to learn. Read everything you can get your hands on. Find a knowledgable person that can help you and be your mentor.
First try to figure out if you can afford a horse. They need real estate, shelter, food, vet care, foot care, expensive supplies to name a few. Their health can be very fagile for an animal this size. So make sure you have the finances before you get the horse. Then make sure you have the time. They need to be feed several times a day. They need exercise and grooming. You will need to find a vet and a horse shoer.
These are the basics of horse care. I hope I didn't discourage you from horse ownership. I just like people to know what is involved when they take on the responsibility of a horse.
When buying a race horse, you need to look for 3 important things and make sure the horse has those, which are presence, balance and temperament. Irish race horses are some of the best race horses in the world because they have those 3 things.
Alot of things!!!
They would look for things like natural gas, radon, and propane. They may need different equipment for different substances.
horses eat hay, grass, and different kinds of grain depending on the breed or how much you work/ excersize it. If you know nothing about horses then dont get one. read books and research them online but dont get a horse until you know you a re ready. Things to keep in mind would be: Property size (you need at least an acre of land per horse) money(you have to pay for all expenses) Horse sense (you should know more than you need to about horses)
you need a helmet, riding boots, riding pants, and a crop( if your horse is slow ). you can find these things at the store Horsing Around.
There are many horses on Horse isle you can look up anything you need to know about the horse for the game in the Library.
they are a lot cheaper to look after then a horse because they don't need all the nutrition a horse needs and they don't need stabling.
That depends on how well you treat your horse. If you treat your horse well it might be quite expensive but the main thing you need to remember is a horse is for life not just for Christmas.
It isn't the breed specifically; you need a horse that is the right size for you, and you need a horse that's the right temperament If you are a beginner rider, you need a bombproof horse temperament 0-1). Intermediate should be about a 2-4 temperament. And so on. It also depends what you are using the horse for.
First you have to look up the kinds of agricultural things like different artifacts and when they were discovered . Once you find your topic you need to research a lot of different things about it . Like the age of the artifact then you could make a report and a model on it .
What you need for a pony is the same this as you need for a horse. Some things are: Saddle (english or westen) Girth, Bridal (english or western) brushes, hoovepick, saddle pads, halter, leadrope, food, stable and a big field for it to run and exercise (and to ride it) treats (optional) mounting block (optional) I have a horse. These are some things I have for my horse.
Where the water and shade are in its paddock, where the gate out of the paddock is and who its friends are.
