Where they can easily eat! There are actually FRESHWATER dolphins! IN THE AMAZON RIVER! WOW!
The pink dolphin live in rivers and freshwater. These dolphins do not venture out into the ocean because of the salt content.
They are different because of their different color.
They live in "pods" (groups) of dolphins. They are predators, they do not live with other types of predators nor prey.
there are actually fresh watter dolphins in the amazon. i couldn't tell you species names but i know they live in fresh watter and i think the amazon. i read a book about it once.
Dolphin's obtain water from their food, they don't actually need alot of fluid because unlike us, their skin is impermeable and they don't lose water by sweating.
I don't think dolphins and bats talk to each other much. Bats live on land and dolphins live out at sea.
They always smile, even when they are dead. They are very smart.Really fast swimmers. Can do tricks. They live in lakes. They live in most oceans around world.
Dolphins are peaceful, they don't eat each other or kill each other. They live in large pods with dolphins of all sizes
the 32 dolphins are were thy live with a big group of dolphins and other creatures in all the oceans
Animals that live in a stream included freshwater mollusks, fish, and in the Amazon River, freshwater dolphins. Also, crayfish, trout, bass, clams, and freshwater mussels are found in streams. :)
Pink dolphins, also known as Amazon river dolphins or botos (scientific name: Inia geoffrensis), live in freshwater because they are specifically adapted to the unique environment of the Amazon, Orinoco, and other South American river systems. Their adaptation to freshwater life is due to several factors: Evolutionary History: These dolphins are believed to have evolved from marine ancestors that became isolated in river systems millions of years ago. Over time, they adapted to the freshwater environment, which now forms their natural habitat. River Systems' Abundance: The Amazon River and other similar rivers offer a rich food supply, including fish, crustaceans, and small aquatic animals, which supports the dolphins' dietary needs. Geographic Isolation: The geography of the Amazon and other river systems has created a unique ecosystem where the pink dolphins face less competition from other predators compared to ocean environments, allowing them to thrive. Physical Adaptations: Pink dolphins have adapted their body shape and physiology to navigate the complex, shallow, and sometimes flooded forests in the Amazon. They have flexible necks that allow them to maneuver around submerged tree trunks and vegetation. These factors combined have made freshwater environments ideal for pink dolphins, allowing them to thrive away from the more competitive and predator-filled oceans.
