It is easy to presume that the majority of cats will prefer milk to water. Milk is naturally high in fat and other nutrients, which is why cats will readily drink milk.
However, it is not ideal to give cats cow's milk, or any other milk that has lactose in. Most cats are lactose intolerant, and can cause upset stomachs and diarrhoea. Speciality formulated cat milk can be found in most stores, and because they are free of lactose, are perfectly safe for a cat to drink.
Yes it will tast like 1 percent milk
I'd say water. For cats, milk is often preferred, but should not be given as many cats cannot digest lactose in cow's milk, and can cause an upset stomach.
One percent as well as fat-free milk are available, but water is better for you.
They should be given a fresh bowl of water daily. Cows' milk is actually hard for cats to digest and can cause diarrhea in cats.
I believe most cats are lactose intolerant, so feeding them cow's milk will make them very poorly. Pet shops should supply specially formulated milk, just for cats. For further advice I would consult an expert.
they aren't as active as outside cats. if you are feeding your cat milk, you shouldn't, it is kind of bad for grown up cats.
Milk!
Yes...never give your cats milk! Unlike us animals can't handle milk like humans can...if you have a kitten that needs to be bottle fed buy the cats milk in the animal section of a store or feed store
Most cats are lactose intolerant and should not be fed cow's milk.
Cats are not made to drink milk. Except only when they are very young and they get the milk from their mother. So I advise you not to feed milk to cats; only water.
they usually hate baths and showers, but drinking water-they like it. when they are thirsty, they will drink it, but never give them milk because it is bad for any cats. i have a norwegian forest cat, and she detests baths!
Warm milk is not recommended for adult cats as many are lactose intolerant and can develop digestive issues like diarrhea. Kittens can drink their mother's milk, but once weaned, they no longer need milk as part of their diet. It's best to provide fresh water for your cat to drink.
