The Bullmastiff breed, is a combination of the Mastiff and the Bulldog. This breed was in created in England around 1850 and it's the only guard dog created there. The Alpine Mastiff was an extinct breed originating in Switzerland but the Saint Bernard was also known as the Alpine Mastiff. America has it's matiff called The American Bandogge Mastiff which looks like a mastiff mixed with pitbull and even share the blue color of the pitbulls. The Argentian dogo is also called the Argentian mastiff.
This is to show that the mastiff breed was paramount for developing the kinds of mastiff breed around the world.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, American bulldog and Bull Terrier. All these dogs are similar but some people mistrake labs, Shar Peis and other breeds with these. Presas, Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentino and Bull Mastiff are also commonly called giant pit bulls. i believe the two breeds that made a pit bull were the English bulldog and the American staffie
Yes, as a general rule, all dogs have atleast two dew claws, unless they are removed.
A German Shepherd is a naturally a guarding dog with excellent skills. They will restrain your intruder and won't actually maul the intruder and normally not inflict deadly harm to an intruder. Whereas a Bull Mastiff would probably actually aim to kill someone if provoked. You obviously don't want a lawsuit on your case.
well the pit bull was made of American bull dogs and sattofre pit
a bull dog and a Pitt bull are two entirely different breed of dogs
no other breed of dog stands a chance against a pitbull. It has been tried and documented in the early days of the1900s. A bigger dog may manage to bite the pitbull but once the pitbull gives the first bite the fight is over. there is no other dog that dones not mind pain. Dovermans for example are not afraid of anything but once bitten by a pitbull it will run like the demons. load of balluks bull terriers dont mind pain nether do mastifffs all molosser type dogs are fighting dogs and no a pitbull wont take down a mastiff A mastiff would beat a pitbull bcos the use to put mastiffs in packs and put them against lions and bears. Let's spell check this answer before posting next time. The question is absurd because no scenarios are involved. I have a Borzoi that could easily take down your everyday pit bull and I have another Borzoi that would be killed if caught by a pit bull. Either could take a Mastiff down after running it to the point of exhaustion in an open area as could a pit bull.
Unlike a lot of dogs, the English bulldog was not created by crossing two specific dog breeds together but was rather developed by crossing a variety of different dogs in an attempt to make the ultimate bull-baiting dog. What dog-breeders would look for in dogs was short snouts, strong jaws, muscular bodies, dogs that were low to the ground, and had a tenacious demeanor. Dog breeders would breed together these dogs with the desired traits until the ideal bulldog was created. These pre-bulldogs are not well known, although there is a suggestion that they may of descended from mastiff-type dogs.
No, a bull terrier is not the same as a pitbull. They are two different breeds of dogs with distinct characteristics and appearances.
Female mastiff puppies will go into heat between six months old and two years old. The 18-month gap in the possible onset of the first heat is because of the size of the Mastiff breed. Dogs are usually in heat 1 ½ to 2 weeks, every 8 months.
The dog wasn't a PIT Bull Terrier, he was a Bull Terrier. Pit Bulls and Bull Terriers are two completely different breeds of dogs. The Bull Terrier in the story was named Bodger.
The German Shepherd would win almost every time it would very easily outmaneuver the English mastiff and get a bite on the back of its neck which it would hold until the English Mastiff was killed or until the fight was hopefully broken up.
