there are two marks.. one in the pump itself.. and another in the flywheel. you stand up in the side of the fuel pump to find the flywheel mark.. there are two holes,,, one of about 1 inch diameter and a smaller one of 3/8 inch.... sometimes there isa plastic cork that covers the bigger hole and is attached to the smaller hole... remove it completely... insert a bolt or a screwdriver in the smaller hole..don't pay attention to the bigger one... then with a socket or a wrench turn the damper clockwise until you find the hole in the flywheel.. now you go to the fuel pump that of course is not installed yet..with an allen key, you proceed to open a plug that is located a little lower from the fuel return line... once you remove the plug, turn the pump's rotor until you find inside the hole, a flat surface.. that's the mark ... there is a special tool to keep it in place.. or you can use a bolt that fits properly inside there..... then you install the pump and that's it
Yes, a rotary injection pump can be calibrated to ensure optimal performance and fuel efficiency. Calibration typically involves adjusting the pump's timing, fuel delivery rates, and pressure settings according to manufacturer specifications. This process is essential for maintaining engine performance and reducing emissions. Proper calibration can significantly enhance the longevity and efficiency of the engine it serves.

variable timing injection
Yes, a rotary motor in a 1987 RX-7 can experience timing issues, although it's less common than in traditional piston engines. Timing can be affected by factors such as wear in the apex seals, improper maintenance, or faulty ignition components. If the ignition timing is off, it can lead to performance problems and potential engine damage. Regular maintenance and checks can help prevent timing-related issues in rotary engines.
injection pump crankshaft camp
Misfiring on a petrol injection engine is caused due to incorrect ignition timing. As the engine rotates, the timing determines when each piston fires or ignites.
The degrees of injection pump timing of nissan straight six diesel engine is 90 degrees.
