Who makes John Deere mower blades?

JOHN DEERe makes there own mowers. That's why they're pretty much the best mowers left that money can buy, every other brand is garbage for the most part. Half the brands you could name off the top of your head are made by MTD these days. Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Bolens, Yard-Man.

John Deere makes their own mower frames, decks, and attatchments in Horicon, Wisconsin, USA. Their motors in their lawn mowers on the other hand are mostly Briggs and Straton or Kohler, both of which are quality motors. They were in fact Kawasaki's first big customer and also are one of Yanmar's biggest customers. They do make their own as well for tractors

Deere makes its riders, Snapper makes the current walk behinds. Great Dane makes a portion of the QuikTrak stand-on commercial mowers, but Deere makes the rest of those and the rest of the commercial mowers.
